Best Week Ever: Old South and Brangelina

So…what happened last week, you ask, to make it the BEST WEEK EVER!?
SAE VA BEACH: What do you get when you put a ton of W&L students and their dates (some students as well as some "imports," ah hem,) in the lovely Tropicana hotel? Complete and utter chaos. Bars that don't card, late night pizza delivery, and the beach always guarantee a good time. The only downfall to the weekend? Probably the midnight visit a certain room received from a couple demanding $40 of drug money….crazy crazy times in VA Beach, what can you say…
UPGRADE/DOWNGRADE?
UPGRADE. Despite the armed robbery that occurred in the charming Tropicana hotel, this weekend was nothing but great times for all.
OLD SOUTH: KA's annual "festival" if you will, when all the girls dress up as Southern Belles and all the frat-stars dress up as Confederate soldiers, was especially great this year, according to some. A certain freshman girl (who will remain nameless,) comments "You know you've had a ridiculously great night when you wake up on a random porch with your cell phone in your hand and you look down to find you're wearing a Confederate soldier's uniform." Props to you, babe, props to you!
UPGRADE/DOWNGRADE?
UPGRADE. With artillery punch, day drinking, and a week's worth of festivities, this tradition receives a huge upgrade.
MOTHER'S DAY: I hope everyone remembered to send flowers, call, or at least e-mail their mom on Mother's Day…and in that spirit of things, I would like to tell everyone to please download "Hey Mama" by Kanye…it will grow on you, trust me.

UPGRADE. We all love our moms and the song's great, too.
CELEBRITY GOSSIP: And now for your weekly dose of celebrity gossip…shut up, you know you love it. Supposedly Brad and Angie finally tied the knot in none other than Namibia. Like really, what do these two people have against AMERICA? Their obsession with everything non-American is kind of strange if you ask me…

DOWNGRADE. They've gotten almost as weird as Tom and Katie.
